Chris Mickey
Financial Professional
Chris Mickey is a Financial Advisor with LPL Financial, based in his hometown of Connellsville, Pennsylvania and serves the greater Southwestern Pennsylvania area. Prior to coming to LPL Financial, he was affiliated with the former Waddell & Reed, Inc. During his tenure at Waddell & Reed, he served as a Marketing Coordinator, encompassing the Western and Central Pennsylvania, Western New York and Eastern Ohio region. He is passionate about the Financial Services Industry and creating a positive experience for his clients to help them attain their financial goals.
Chris is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, as well as a minor in Italian Language and Literature.
Chris is also an avid musician. He has been Organist and Director of Music at Saint Rita’s Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville for over 20 years, and has served in the same capacity at Saint John’s Roman Catholic Church in Connellsville for nearly 20 years. He is also actively involved in the community. He is President of the Connellsville Mozart Club, which annually recognizes and awards scholarships to graduating high school students pursuing degrees in the field of music. He is an officer in the Holy Name Men’s Society of Saint Rita Parish, and was a charter member of the Believe in Connellsville organization, which worked to achieve community advancement.
Chris enjoys traveling domestically and abroad, especially to Italy, where he frequently visits his family’s hometown of Carife, near Naples. He enjoys Italian heritage genealogy, and with his knowledge of the Italian language has been a volunteer translator, and has connected many people to their ancestral roots. In his spare time, Chris also enjoys jogging, doing DIY projects around his home and relaxing with his family and friends.
